I have been collecting Civil War Tokens (CWT) for forty years now and have continually refined my collecting objectives. Perhaps reminiscent of the blue Whitman coin folders of my youth, I’ve wanted to be able to complete a CWT collection. As there are over 10,000 CWT varieties, this requires collecting well-defined subsets of the whole. This web site presents my collecting methodology and provides materials to facilitate collecting CWT by pictorial type. Have a look at the User’s Guide to get started.
